We celebrate differences and encourage BANDmates to be their authentic selves. #jointhebandWhat We Are Looking For:Analyst, Network Cost Management is responsible for a variety of the Bandwidth Global Network Cost invoices including auditing, identifying, summarizing, and presenting disputed charges with vendors and negotiating dispute settlements. They will also work with a variety of internal teams to review any internal processes causing cost variances while reviewing possible process and cost improvements.*This role works 100% in office out of our Raleigh HQWhat You'll Do:Ensure receipt and timely payments of monthly global network cost invoicesReporting included but not limited to: spend by LEC/Carrier and Outstanding Disputes and resolutions by LEC/Carrier, outstanding vendor requestsManage the Global CABS billing processes and reporting for the Bandwidth vendors across the global marketsInvoice Cost Management: Invoice setup, account coding, billing validation and dispute managementAnalytics: as needed to support the above responsibilitiesCommunicate open disputes with vendors and follow-up regularly to ensure resolutionTreat the New BANs received from the Global Bandwidth vendors in TEOCO and validate the billing requirementsVendor Management SupportNetwork Support & DevelopmentFinance support for Network Cost Projects for accrual purposesWhat You Need:Education: Bachelor Degree or 3-year relevant telecommunications work experienceExperience: +2-year telecommunications experience & Financial AnalysisKnowledge: LERG, State & Federal Access Tariffs, Interconnection Agreements & Direct Peering Agreements, Carrier Access Billing Systems (CABS) & Telecommunication Vendor Invoice Management Best PracticesRequired Skills: Advanced Excel is required in order to perform the basic functionalities of the role, Basic understanding of accounts payable/billing processes, Basic SQL skills and problem solvingBonus Points:Education: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of telecom experience, or military experience in lieu of degreeExperience: Telecom Vendor Cost Management, Financial Analysis, Voice Usage & Circuit AnalysisKnowledge: LERG, Switched Access Tariffs, CABs billing (to Bandwidth)Skills: Advanced Excel knowledge, SQL, Microsoft Office, Google ApplicationsThe Whole Person Promise:At Bandwidth, we’re pretty proud of our corporate culture, which is rooted in our “Whole Person Promise.” We promise all employees that they can have meaningful work AND a full life, and we provide a work environment geared toward enriching your body, mind, and spirit.100% company-paid Medical, Vision, & Dental coverage for you and your family with low deductibles and low out-of-pocket expenses.All new hires receive four weeks of PTO.PTO Embargo.
