Cath Lab Tech at Morton Plant Hospital starting on 12/16 for a 13-week contract. 4x10s shifts from 07:00-17:30 with a varying daily caseload per tech. 2 years of experience required; first-timers not accepted. Scrub and EKG skills are essential, along with experience in Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, and both left and right heart catheterization. Knowledge of Cerner EMR is preferred. The department focuses on chest pain, NSTEMI, STEMI, valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension procedures.Job Requirements
2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required. Specific skills include scrubbing, EKG, as well as Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left heart catheterization, and right heart catheterization. Cerner EMR proficiency preferred. On-call is required, and floating to sister facilities is not necessary. COVID-19 vaccination is mandated, with exemptions accepted on medical or religious grounds.Schedule Information
Shifts are 4x10s, from 07:00 to 17:30 with required weekend shifts. On-call requirements include typically 1 weekend in a 4-week schedule and 7-9 call shifts in a month.Unit Specific Information
Candidates will join the Cardiac Cath Lab, handling cases including but not limited to chest pain, NSTEMI, STEMI, valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension. Specific procedures consist of L/R Heart Cath, CTO, Complex PCI, Peripheral & Complex Peripheral, and Carotid Stent.Additional Details
No RTO in the contract. When applicable, RTO may be discussed in the interview. Guaranteed hours apply after the first call-off per pay period. All candidates must possess an active driver's license. Openness to block scheduling will be discussed in the interview if applicable. Travelers cannot be locals.
