Branch Managers oversee developing personnel in the branch to achieve organizational sales and member satisfaction objectives, expand member relationships, increase revenues, and build member base. The Branch Manager ensures attainment of growth and profitability goals of the branch. Partners closely with other departments throughout NuMark to ensure consistent application and execution of policies and procedures. Branch Managers foster a positive working environment for employee empowerment through coaching and support. The ideal candidate will lead by example; and become a positive role model while displaying a positive attitude within the work environment and creating a quality service environment for staff. Managers should have a personal commitment to achieve corporate/office/department/personal goals and maintains awareness of current financial factors affecting the credit union and seeks avenues to increase value to the organization.Branch managers should maintains a satisfactory level of production while assisting others whenever possible. Displays appropriate judgement in delegation of responsibilities to qualified subordinates. Demonstrates the ability to develop sound solutions to complex problems and to make on-the-spot decisions with speed and consistency of output. Demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, implement, and follow through on projects. Demonstrates a professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor at all times. Supports the Credit Union by providing quality service to members and staff alike.What You'll Do....Responsible for all operational aspects of the branch, under the direction of the Vice President of Member Experience.Must have a thorough knowledge of the daily operations of the Credit Union, including consumer lending, teller functions and member service.Coordinates the priorities of staffing, service quality, and product delivery in the teller and financial service areas.Ensures branch operational activities related to facilities management and information systems are monitored and maintained in an effective and efficient manner.Monitors, maintains and assures all operational issues and internal controls are appropriately managed. Regularly keeps Vice President of Member Experience informed.Verifies branch payroll information and then submits to
Human Resources. Acts as timekeeper for branch location by monitoring all benefit time.Ensures coordination for generic office supply inventory. Maintains supplies, adequate levels, distribution and storage area.Works with Facilities Manager to coordinate building operations: cleaning services and maintenance and repairs.Develops and implements a compliance program to effectively review the various areas of the credit union for compliance.Prepares and presents periodic reports for the management team and the board of directors regarding the credit union's record of compliance.Responsible for loan generation, underwriting and submission of loan documents in accordance with NuMark Credit Union's guidelines and policies.Review the credit union's forms and disclosures to ensure that they comply with all applicable laws and regulations.Provides input regarding compliance concerns relevant to the products and services in the designated area of responsibility and for new development and changes to products and services in that area. Including promotional advertising and solicitations.Develops and maintains productive relationships with assigned SEG's with regular, consistent contacts with key personnel.Represents the credit union at designated SEG, community or credit union related special events and programs. Promotes credit union staff involvement in these activities as appropriate.Responsible for compliance to all BSA policies, procedures and regulations within area of responsibility.The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities You'll Need....A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three to five years credit union operations experience preferred.Ability to plan and organize the activities of others.Ability to get ideas accepted and to guide a group or individual to accomplish the task.Ability to modify leadership style and management approach to reach a goal and possess strong positive interpersonal and leadership skills.Familiarity and facility with PCs, general accounting principles, and ATM processing.Good communication, accurate mathematical skills, and able to exhibit positive interpersonal skills with both members and staff.Must be a highly energetic and motivated individual that is goal and results oriented.Motivated by the opportunity to earn monetary rewards and works well in an environment that supports this philosophy.Strives to accomplish all assigned tasks in a timely manner.
