Amazon Q Business is a generative AI–powered assistant that can answer questions, provide summaries, generate content, and securely complete tasks based on data and information in your enterprise systems. This role will drive a confidential new initiative from customer discovery and validation all the way through defining the architecture and roadmap through execution. We are looking for an outstanding product leader that has experience managing large-scale global products, has a track record for developing a vision, defining a strategy and building features from the ground up. This person will have solved complicated problems with elegant, simple solutions. They must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. High judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytic talent, and leadership are essential to success in this role.AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.Key job responsibilities

A successful candidate will have lead product organization, built and scaled high performing technical product teams, be familiar with operational best practices, be dedicated to diversity and inclusivity, be versed in Cloud and Data systems, and have world class business acumen to be stubborn about the long-term vision, flexible on the implementation details, and clever in driving short term, incremental results.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experienceExperience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)5+ years building software-as-a-service productsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
