To learn more, visit kitsapcu.org .About the Role:Kitsap Credit Union is searching for a Vice President of Sales to design and lead the sales strategy for a high performing credit union. This position is both strategic and motivational in nature. This role designs and executes enterprise-level sales strategies that support the growth objectives of the business in an efficient, inclusive, and exciting manner. This role will create and maintain relationships across business units and maximize revenue beyond planned levels.Principal Accountabilities:Responsible for the full portfolio of Kitsap Credit Union Consumer and Business products and services.Designs sales compensation and incentive plans to exceed annual scorecard objectives.Owns sales reporting and sales KPIs in support of sales decision-making processes.Owns omnichannel sales tools for one-to-one sales opportunities, including sales CRM system.Responsible for creation, operation, and measurement of member-facing sales programs.Develops ongoing pipeline of new business activity. Develops and maintains relationships with centers of influence and referral sources.Responsible for growing new member relationships and deepening existing relationships.Partners with branch employees and coaches them to make appropriate sales and referrals.Increases market visibility and awareness by representing KCU through civic involvement and community relations activities. Develops positive and profitable networks within the business community.Responsible for developing a team of high performing employees to exceed loan and deposit goals while retaining members, expanding relationships and acquiring new ones.Builds partnerships externally and internally and identifies influencers in and around the communities to create relationships that drive growth.Ensures that all member services and product processing activities are conducted in accordance with all regulatory, legal and governmental regulations. Works with corporate compliance and loan and deposit operations to ensure conformity with credit union policies/procedures and Federal and State regulations.Develops and implements financial strategies and objectives, including performance targets and key metrics to achieve overall business objectives.Required Skills and Abilities:Thorough knowledge of all Credit Union, State, and Federal policies, procedures, and laws regarding lending.High level of consultative selling skills.Must be bondable and have a valid driver’s license.The ability to motivate and relate to broad audiences through story telling / evangelizing KCU and its mission is a must.Demonstrated ability to lead financial organizations’ sales efforts increasing levels of production and service quality is critical.Must have the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into succinct pathways to successful growth.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and goals.Ability to effectively lead a team to meet sales goals and objectives.Adheres to all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.Demonstrates a high level of engagement and active collaboration contributing to a positive team environment.Understand, model, and represent KCU’s core values.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent education and experience required.Ten plus years of related work experience and demonstrated sales results required.Must possess more than five years of successful senior leadership experience as a sales or business development leader.Proven success at teaming with management teams as a business partner in similar business environments.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Business or Sales preferred.Previous Sales experience in a financial institution preferred.Experience with mortgage, wealth management, and small business products preferred.Our Values:Integrity:
