Peoria's Information Technology Department has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Application Systems Analyst who will work in a professional environment to provide high-level support to the City's enterprise applications and systems. Some of the daily duties consist of supporting web, database, and workgroup applications, including installing and upgrading application systems; applying updates and enhancements; identifying and evaluating technical needs; facilitating implementations; working with users, departments, and vendors; conducting research; and supporting reporting and data needs.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
The ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple activities.
The ability to collaborate with customers, colleagues, and vendors.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Experience:
3 years' experience as an Application Systems Analyst
Licenses and Certifications:
ITIL Certification within 6 months of hire.
Preferred / Desirable Qualifications:
Experience with enterprise applications
Experience with and knowledge of data flow, analysis, and reporting.
Experience in a municipal or government setting is preferred.
