That is where you come in!Position Overview:We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented senior Business Analyst to support our public sector clients in defining and delivering solutions that align with its business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and be adept at gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and recommending optimal technical solutions. Knowledge of Salesforce technology is preferred. The role involves requirement gathering in a complex environment, supporting testing, conducting training, and providing support to end-users to maximize the effective use of Salesforce, Continuous Improvement, and documentation of business processes and user guides.This is a hybrid role, 3 days a week in office.Key Responsibilities:Requirements Gathering & Documentation:Define, document, and validate business processes and rules to identify functional requirements. Technical Solution Recommendations:Support technical team to understand business requirements.Collaboration & Teamwork:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and stakeholders, to ensure the understanding of the business requirements.Responsible for developing end user training plans and conducting end-user training as per predefined training plans.Salesforce Knowledge:Leverage an understanding of Salesforce technology and its application to business needs.UAT Support:
Provide UAT support for the end users so they can undertake business function testing effectively.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with exposure to Salesforce implementations.Proven experience in gathering, defining, and documenting business requirements and functional specifications.Ability to manage the end-to-end SDLC, including requirements gathering, solution design, and business process analysis.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to recommend technical solutions that meet business needs.Strong knowledge of business process mapping and requirements validation techniques.Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skills:Experience working on Salesforce-based projects.Familiarity with public sector or regulatory environments.Analysis:
Generates all possible alternatives given the context of the opportunity/issue.Tries to quantify all business improvement opportunities.Makes quick and effective decisions.Makes decisions on a basis of a holistic understanding.
Problem-solving:
Proficient problem-solving skills.Identifies issues or causes for a problem and provides a recommended solution with alternatives.Identifies a set of features, parameters, or considerations to take into account in analyzing a situation or making a decision.Weighs the costs, benefits, risks, and chances for success in making a decision.Carefully weighs the priority of things to be done.Anticipates possible problems and develops contingency plans in advance.
Business Communication:
Is able to persuade others to his/her point of view.Makes effective presentations.Represents internally and externally the best interests of the organization.Puts forward pros and cons and examples to build a case.Provides clear information about a problem or issue, establishes the facts.Can synthesize technical and other information to add clarity for others.Persuasively communicates the benefits of a particular approach.Produces a very high level of written communication suitable for organization-wide or external consumption.Probes skillfully to get at the facts when others are reluctant to provide full or detailed information.
Systems and Process Orientation:
Ensures adherence to all processes.Corrects deviations from process based on analysis.Evaluates progress/performance as per plan.Goes to great lengths to ensure the quality of systems and processes.
