PRN Clinical Dietitians

Baylor University Medical Center.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, providing top-notch care to a diverse patient population. The Clinical Dietitian will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients.
Week days and weekend days available!About the Hospital:Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health is a nationally recognized, faith-based, not-for-profit hospital in Dallas that cares for more than 300,000 people each year. In 1903, the Dallas hospital opened with 25 beds; today it is a major patient care, teaching and research center for the Southwest. Baylor University Medical Center has 914 licensed beds and serves as the flagship hospital of Baylor Scott & White Health ? North Texas. BUMC is an Academic teaching hospital, level 1 trauma, level 4 NICU, technology and research center. It serves as the flagship hospital of Baylor Scott & White Health- North Texas.Job Responsibilities
Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needsProvide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changesCollaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition careMonitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as neededStay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition#FSNE-300Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institutionRegistered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required or the ability to obtain RD / RDN within 6 monthsLicensed Dietitian status in
Texas
within 6 months of hireExcellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsPassion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutritionEducation
