POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director, Project Management has the primary responsibility for overseeing the delivery of work for a portfolio of businesses or one very large piece of business, ensure expert execution of all projects (TV, Digital, Print, Mobile, etc.) across the portfolio. The Director, PM position requires a sufficient breadth and depth of expertise in the agency's capabilities to lead large multi-disciplinary teams of people to successfully deliver integrated client solutions for a large portfolio of brands.
The Director, PM is an enthusiastic problem solver and thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project. As the key point of contact for both the client and the project team, the Director plays a pivotal role in the success of an engagement. You will be responsible for projects with budgets of 10MM+ and ensuring that the team delivering the work has everything they need to make Famously Effective work.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $165,000 to $200,000. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
On any given day you can expect to:
- Primary responsibilities include overseeing the Project Management capability for a large client portfolio, including workflow and resource management through creative, account management, editorial, production and finance teams
- Serve as cross-functional leader/partner alongside EVPs, ECDs, Directors accountable for client annual growth targets
- Manage schedules, budgets, scopes, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon.
- Lead the development and tracking of integrated project plans, including training, standardization, and application of best practices in the PM capacity.
- Partner with executive leadership and department leads on all New Business efforts including prep, presentation, and new client onboarding, identify growth opportunities for the agency
- Set project quality and performance standards to help standardize approach and manage risk within, and across, multiple projects
- Ensure ongoing process-improvement to respond to changing business needs, capabilities and clients that enables reliable delivery of integrated projects in a dynamic environment
- Partner with Finance and Creative Services to architect the proper cast across each scope
- Evaluate resourcing, processes and roles and responsibilities of integrated team to maximize resources within and between departments
- Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals
- Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance
- Manage peer-level client Ops Team relationships (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalation, and feedback)
- Develop relationships with, and ensure the appropriate participation of key client stakeholders and client executives in delivery of high quality, compliant materials
- Onboards new staff to ensure a smooth transition. Supervise direct reports and manage their performance reviews, provide coaching and mentorship
- Update timelines based on client and/or internal changes, keeping accurate timelines throughout the life of the job
- Consistently identify needs which clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs
- Manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Experience in managing multiple project life cycles from business development to final delivery
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks
- High level of language and communication skills as well as an interest
- Ability to clearly and consistently provide feedback and lead by example
- 10+ years' experience within Advertising or related industry
