Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an advanced heart failure/transplant cardiologist to join its growing team at the Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute. Candidates interested in this full-time position should be board eligible/board certified in cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure/transplant cardiology with a demonstrable interest in outreach activities and program development. The multidisciplinary team at the Institute provides comprehensive care for heart failure patients, including mechanical support devices and transplantation. In addition, the Institute runs specialized cardiomyopathy and pulmonary hypertension clinics, as well as participates in investigator-initiated and sponsored trials through a robust Clinical Research department. The team is actively involved in graduate medical education as part of Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Programs.
This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
