We offer:A fast-paced work environment where your safety is our priorityProduction areas that are clean, well-lit and temperature-controlled Training and career development, with onboarding programs for new employees and tuition assistanceFinancial security through competitive compensation and incentivesHealth care and well-being programs including medical, dental, vision, wellness and occupational health programsPaid time off401(k) retirement savings with a generous company matchThe stability of a company with a record of strong financial performance and history of being actively involved in local communitiesLearn more about our benefits that add real value to your life to help you live fully:  WHAT YOU’LL DOAs the Manager of Equipment and Industrial Engineering, you will:Lead and develop a team of engineering professionals responsible for design, development, implementation, optimization, and validation of filling and packaging equipment Coordinate resource planning and the technical execution of a portfolio of concurrent large-size capital projects for Abbott nutrition plants in the North America region; this may include leveraging of contract engineering support.Support the concept development and capital project front-end planning for equipment scope including design layout, equipment specifications, budget estimation, risk analysis, and schedule considerations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.Provide technical support to North America Abbott plants, including existing system issues as well as design improvements as part of continuous improvement, and act as a technical influencer to senior leadership and stakeholders for business initiatives.Create and execute strategic initiatives relative to increasing manufacturing capacity, new product introductions, and quality /operational performance improvements in collaboration with plant management leadership teams.Up to 20% travel is expected as part of the role.WHAT YOU’LL BRINGA Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Industrial engineering)Minimum of 8 years of progressively increasing leadership responsibility, applying engineering knowledge, problem solving, and ingenuity to deliver capital projects related to high volume manufacturing systems.Experience in nutritional product manufacturing is a plusExperience working in an FDA/USDA regulated facilityExperience in managing engineering firms, suppliers, and contractorsExperience in validated processes and systems in a regulated environmentExperience in project management including budget and scope managementStrong executive presence and communication skills including managing internal/external stakeholdersThe base pay for this position is $125,300.00 – $250,700.00.
