Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Applicants must meet ONE (either Level I or Level II) of the following EIDBI Level qualifications for education and/or experience:

Level 1: (must meet one of the criteria below; pay range of $20-$21 an hour)

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a mental health discipline or hold a master’s degree in a mental health field

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields and have 6,000 hours of clinical experience delivering Applied Behavior Analysis services

OR

Level 2: (must meet one of the criteria below; pay range of $18-$19 an hour)

  • Enrolled in OR hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy)

  • Hold an associate’s degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development or related fields (mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy) and at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience (including but not limited to experience as a DSP, PCA, Paraprofessional)

  • Possess a high school diploma (or GED) and have 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience (equivalent to 2 years of full-time experience, including but not limited to experience as a DSP, PCA, Paraprofessional )

  • Fluent in a non-English speaking language or certified by a tribal nation

Children with Autism have a variety of developmental, learning, physical and emotional needs. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our clinical team to achieve the following:

  • Run therapeutic and behavioral plans, and provide early intervention to increase social and self-management skills

  • Provide guidance on a range of developmental goals from communication, exercise and nutrition and academic skills to assist with school readiness

  • Support individuals with learning and maintaining personal skills such as: hygiene, grooming and/or toileting

  • Teach and model interpersonal and social skills to help individuals thrive in their communities

  • Provide assistance using strategies to properly manage and redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors
