DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive mental health evaluations, treatments, and clinical supervision for clients within the greater Cleveland area. Successful candidates will perform diagnostic assessments, individual psychotherapy treatment, group therapy/counseling sessions, and crisis intervention services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Functions as a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision (LISW-S), providing clinical interventions and supervision as appropriate to properly care for RBH clients:
- Conduct mental health screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Provide individual psychotherapy treatment, group therapy, and crisis intervention services.
- Supervise and mentor other social workers pursuing licensure or seeking professional development.
- Evaluate crisis situations and apply appropriate interventions.
- Assist in the detection of "at risk" patients and collaborate on plans to prevent further psychological or physical deterioration.
- Provide brief, focused interventions for mental and behavioral health problems and disorders.
- Manage caseload and meet productivity expectations as defined for the assigned area.
- Ensure compliance with all quality, accountability, and documentation requirements for RBH.
- Complete all required documentation within specified timeframes.
- Perform other functionally related duties as assigned.
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a master's degree in social work (MSW) or related health field.
- Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision (LISW-S) in Ohio.
- Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counseling and Licensed Certified Addiction Counselor preferred (LSW, MSW, LPC, LPCC, LICDC).
- A minimum of 2 or more years of clinical experience working directly with clients having mental health or substance use disorders.
- 2 years of experience in providing group therapy using a variety of treatment modalities preferred.
