ReDiscover is seeking a Adolescent & Adult Mental Health Clinician to add to our Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program!

WHAT WE DO

The Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides acute stabilization through intensive individual and group therapy with a treatment team approach utilizing various therapy techniques. In this program, the team-centric approach helps each individual client on a short term basis, typically 1-3 weeks in length in an outpatient day treatment setup.

At ReDiscover, while every day is different, a typical day may include the following roles and responsibilities:
  • Maintain and interact with a caseload of clients with diverse characteristics either in-person or over the phone.
  • Conduct high quality clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in a timely manner.
  • Identify and provide clinical interventions and referrals for clients based on their needs.
  • Empower clients to develop and nurture the knowledge, skills, and support systems crucial to promoting optimal functioning in the community.
  • Continually assess clients for lack of progress, progress, or emergent needs and address those needs clinically.
  • Conduct individual, group education, and group therapies for clients in our Adolescent IOP program.
  • Engage difficult-to-serve clients by investigating all potential resources in order to gain access and make connections.
  • Collect and maintain information about clients and document interactions within ReDiscover's designated electronic medical record.
  • Communicate and collaborate with an internal multi-disciplinary team to address various aspects of wellness and ensure positive communication regarding the coordination of client care.
  • This position may also support ReDiscover's Behavioral Health Youth and Adult Urgent Care Clinics as needed.
We are focused on your development and will spend time helping you continue to grow as a Adolescent & Adult Mental Health Clinician. However, here are some things that you will need prior to starting with ReDiscover:
  • Availability to work at the minimum, a part-time schedule (16 hours a week), Monday through Wednesday, 4:00pm-8:00pm.
  • Additional hours are available to make the position a full-time role supporting ReDiscover's Behavioral Health Urgent Care clinics. The program is flexible on the days and times of additional work.
  • A hybrid schedule may be considered.
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in a social science field (as defined by the Department of Mental Health).
  • Active Provisional Counselor license (PLPC) through the state of Missouri or a Master Social Worker license (LMSW) with registered supervision with the Missouri Division of Professional Registration for licensure as a Clinical Social Worker is a minimum requirement.
  • Active clinical license in the State of Missouri which includes: Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience in direct service provision in a mental health setting.
  • Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as GSuite.
