Surgery - Thoracic Physician

Location: Sioux City is a vibrant city located in Northwestern Iowa, along the Missouri River. Opportunity: * Looking for call coverage + inpatient rounds (No start date) * 24-hour coverage + inpatient rounds * Hospital setting * About 1 case per day + potential emergencies. TAVR days are on Wednesdays * Will be supervising 1 PRN CT Surgery APP * Trauma level 2 * Annual ER volume 30,000 or 80 per day * 14 patients/day for clinic; 6 patients/day for hospital * Average number of trauma cases/day:10 * Average number of elective cases/days: 2 * 120+ beds * 24 ICU beds * 2 dedicated CVOR rooms, dedicated CVOR team, dedicated APP to manage inpatients and clinic follow ups, dedicated clinic nurse * EMR: Cerner * Patient demographic: adult * Provider working solo * Typical/Required Procedures: Adult cardiac surgery, trauma, ventricular aneurysmectomy, general thoracic surgery, Coronary artery bypass surgery, CABG on pump, valve repair and replacement, maze on pump, maze minimally invasive (mini maze) * Will pay for full travel Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included
