The position is inpatient with call duties, covering a mix of cardiology-related procedures and inpatient admissions.Practice Setting: Inpatient/CallCall Ratio:* Weekend call: 1-2 weekends/month* Additional weekend call as neededPatient Demographic: Adults (18 and up)Trauma Level/Designation: Level 1 (Youngstown)Total Number of Beds:* 370 beds (Youngstown)* Smaller facilities at Boardman and WarrenICU Beds: 50 at Youngstown facilityCardiologists in Group: 7Other Cardiologists on Coverage: Yes, coverage will have support from other cardiologistsProcedures Required:* Treadmill Stress Tests* Electrical Cardioversions* Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)* Echocardiography* Electrocardiograms (EKGs)* Chemical Stress Tests* MRI/CT Reads (if possible)Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 daysRequirements:* Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Cardiology (required)* State License: Active Ohio license* Certifications:* BLS (Basic Life Support)* ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
