Job Title: Cardiothoracic SurgeonLocation: Lima, OHShift Type: 24-Hour On-CallShift Coverage: 24/7 coverage shared with full-time and PRN providerCall Requirements: 10-14 days of call coverage per monthWeekend Requirements: YesJob Description:* Position Overview: Seeking locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide coverage.* Practice Setting:* Clinic inside the hospital* Hospital rounding, call, and call back* Patient Demographics: Adult patients only* Average Number of Cases per Day: 1-2* Trauma Level/Designation: Level 2* Operating Rooms: 12 ORs, including a hybrid room* EMR System: EPIC* Ancillary Staff: 4 Physician Assistants (PAs)Scope of Services:* Required Procedures:* Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)* Redo Coronary Revascularization (with or without heart valve surgery)* Heart Valve Repair/Replacement SurgeryCredentialing:* Estimated Timeframe: 60-90 days* State License: Ohio* Required Certifications:* Board Certified* Fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery* ACLS and BLS
