Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Job Description: Locum Psychiatrist - Davenport, IAPosition Details:* Specialty: Psychiatry* Location: Davenport, IA* Shift Type: Days (7 days on/7 days off rotation)* Work Hours: Monday-Sunday, 8am - 5pm* Call Requirements: Weeknight call and weekend call may be required* Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 daysJob Responsibilities:* Inpatient Psychiatry : Manage both adult and adolescent units (18 adult beds, 5 adolescent beds)* Hospital Consults & ER Consults : Provide psychiatric consultation services in emergency settings* Supervision : Oversee APPs* Call Duties : Take call every third day (including weekend call)* Patient Load : 5-12 patients per day* Documentation : Use Cerner EMR system* Therapies : Administer pharmacotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, restraint application, seclusion therapy, and voluntary commitments* Treatments : Experience with anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, organic disordersCandidate Requirements:* Board Certification : Must be Board Certified* Inpatient Psychiatry Experience : Required, with a preference for 2+ years of experience* Licensure : Iowa State License or IMLC* Age Range : Experience treating patients ages 6 and up* Required Conditions/Treatments : Must have familiarity with conditions such as anxiety disorders, affective disorders, psychotic disorders, ADD/ADHD, eating disorders, developmental disorders, and more.* Call & Schedule Flexibility : Must be able to commit to the 7 days on/7 days off scheduleAdditional Requirements:* Experience with Family Therapy : Required* Experience with Restraint Application and Seclusion : Required* ER Psychiatry Experience : Required
