Major Duties (Job Description)
- You will be responsible for broad range of mathematical modeling and predictive analytical duties to assist the financial community to develop modeling and predicative analytical solutions from a wide range of sources.
- You will conduct research using basic to complex mathematical principles, methods, procedures, techniques, or relationships; and, developing mathematical methods to solve a variety of scientific, engineering, and/or military problems.
- You will perform mathematical modeling, analyzing mathematical models in support of R/D and develop computational methods and computer codes.
- You will compare computational results derived from observation or experiments, performs analysis and assessment of the implementation and display of analyst tool and data fusion of financial information in financial and associated systems.
- You will provide documentation of system requirements, analysis, and testing for the development, modification and integration of new capabilities.
- You will participate in development and execution of short-term, mid-term, and long-term strategies to market NIWC Pacific products and services in the area of financial systems and applications.
Qualification Summary
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band ND-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing analytical and mathematical modeling technology solutions; implementing predictive, comparative and financial trends.
