The position requires coverage on a scheduled basis with no call responsibilities, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Position Details:* Specialty : Psychiatry* Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends* Shift : Standard day shift, 8 hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)* Coverage Type : Scheduled with no call responsibilities* Block Scheduling : Not requiredSupport Staff:* 3 APPs in UC/observation unit* Either an APP or resident in the FBC* APP in each ED unitWork Responsibilities:* Electronic Medical Record (EMR) : Tele-psych capabilities available* Average Patient Load :* Group size: 6 patients* Urgent care: 10-20 patients daily* Patient Age Group :* UC: Ages 5 and above* Patients under 16 requiring observation or FBC services will be referred to another facility nearby.Requirements:* Board Certification : Psychiatry required* State License : North Carolina* Certifications : BLS and DEA required* Experience : Must be comfortable triaging children and adolescents.* Vaccinations : MandatoryThis position offers the opportunity to practice in a well-equipped, modern setting with access to advanced medical technology and tele-psychiatry services.
