Pediatric Radiology Career Opportunities Louisville, Kentucky
Norton Childrens Radiology, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, and a part of Norton Childrens Medical Group, is recruiting for additional pediatric radiologists across multiple subspecialties. The practice currently includes 10 fellowship-trained pediatric radiologists with training in various subspecialties, as well as a registered radiologist assistant, specialized nurses and radiology technicians.
The newly renovated radiology space at Norton Childrens Hospital features advanced imaging technology:
Two MRIs and one 3 tesla (3T) MRI machine x Single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scanner
Two 256-slice CT scanners x Biplane interventional suite
FerriScan for liver or cardiac iron quantification x Fluoroscopy equipment
Advanced cardiac imaging (CT and MRI) to help diagnose and evaluate children and adults with congenital heart disease
Ultrasound elastography to evaluate for chronic liver conditions
Digital X-ray technology that use minimal radiation compared with older machines
As an integrated entity since 2020, Norton Childrens Medical Group has recruited over 100 providers; added four new accredited fellowships; expanded outreach throughout Kentucky; and increased funding through National Institutes of Health grants, industry-sponsored grants, and registry and trial drug network funding through Norton Childrens Research Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine.

Opportunity for an experienced, innovative and board-certified neuroradiologist to grow professionally as clinical team leader and research leader as part of a growing epilepsy surgery program

Home access to picture archiving and communications system (PACS) available
