Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add one IT Support Engineer to an existing team in Raritan, NJ. Please see below for full details: Job Notes: -6 month contract / extensions likely with good performance -ASAP start date -Onsite in Raritan, NJ -Drug & Background required. -Pay Rate $20-23 w2 per hour depending on experience. Job Duties: • Once built PC is handed over, to wrap, pack and ship asset via respective channel in country and update paperwork/tickets for tracking purposes • Update daily Tracking details in the ticketing system. • Handling HW return & system updates (AMDB) and closing tickets. • Receive PC from end user, unpack, place is disposal hold area, update AMDB, wipe machine after 1 week, file disposal request with Ingram. • Setup PC on network for Imaging - Requested by L2 team. • Based on distributed demand from AM team, person will be placing orders for respective site and/or whole country • Inclusive of managing peripherals inventories and ordering [bags, KB/Mice, headsets, etc.] • Main contact point for receiving the equipment and/or ensuring if equipment is received in different location to help our Procurement& AM team to follow up on confirmation. • Equipment asset reporting to AM & Procurement to upload equipment into AMDB and to close the orders. • Taking over for ASO responsibilities for asset scanning and resolving discrepancies after stock comparison • Manage and maintain prebuild inventory on all new and used assets within thresholds. • Maintain Hardware break fix inventory and manage service calls with vendors. • Providing asset records to AM disposal team for pick up arrangements. • Acting as a focal point for IM pick up scheduling (time & date of arrival on site) • Decomm Equipment Hand off to IM representative • Works independently with little to no direct supervision in analysis, design, and implementation of desktop solutions to fulfill business unit requirements. • Updates and closes all trouble tickets and service requests on a timely basis including knowledge article and labor hour input for billing and management. • Knowledge and understanding of Windows desktop operating systems. • Responsible for partnering with the business units supported to understand the business impact of support issues. • Acts as a technical liaison with IT partners for systems support and implementation and provides an effective interface. • Ability to perform troubleshooting and analysis of PC hardware, PC operating systems. • Intermediate ability to perform complex troubleshooting and analysis of network system devices and PC network hardware.
