THE COMPANY is seeking a
Senior Income Tax Analyst
to join its growing team. Reporting to the Income Tax Manager, the candidate will assist in federal and state income tax compliance, quarterly provisions, and audit support. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing department, handling a mix of compliance, provision preparation, and research-related tasks.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
Required Qualifications:EducationBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (MST and/or CPA preferred).Experience2-4 years of progressive experience in
private industry
(financial services preferred) or public accounting.Strong knowledge of
ASC 740 .Technical SkillsProficient in tax software such as
OneSource Tax Provision, Income Tax , and research tools (e.g.,
Checkpoint, CCH ).Familiarity with
Microsoft Office ; experience with
Oracle
and
Alteryx
is a plus.Soft SkillsExcellent
analytical, organizational, and communication skills .Ability to manage multiple priorities and produce timely deliverables.High attention to detail, accuracy, and execution.What You'll Be Doing:Income Tax CompliancePrepare
federal and state income/franchise tax returns .Manage quarterly estimated payments and filing extensions.Tax Provision and General LedgerAssist in preparing
income tax provisions , including deferred tax reconciliations and tax journal entries.Reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts as part of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.Audit and SOX ComplianceEnsure compliance with
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
documentation requirements.Provide schedules and support for external auditors and management.Tax Research and MonitoringResearch and monitor
tax legislation
for potential impacts.Participate in federal and state
income tax audits
