Adecco is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to lead and manage critical business analysis activities for our client’s organization in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful project outcomes by translating complex business needs into actionable solutions.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.

Deep understanding of business analysis methodologies and techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency in relevant business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Jira, Confluence).

A strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a passion for driving innovation and improvement.

Utility industry experience preferred

Bachelors degree required

Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering and Documentation: Lead the elicitation and documentation of comprehensive business requirements from diverse stakeholders.

Process Analysis and Modeling: Analyze and model complex business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Functional and Technical Specifications: Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for system enhancements or new systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate collaborative meetings and workshops, effectively communicating project status and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing robust mitigation strategies.

Requirement Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and define project scope, balancing competing demands and resource constraints.

System Implementation and Support: Lead the development and testing of new systems or enhancements, providing ongoing support and training to users.

Team Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior business analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $69.00 per hour
