SCHEDULE:
40 hours, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Pays $62,500/year DOE
LOCATION:
This is a fully remote position with the expectation of coming on site occasionally for meetings and/or other work-related events
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION
:
The HMIS-CRM System Administrator has primary responsibility for administration, project set-up, data collection design, needs assessment, and user experience of the Pine Street Inn Homeless Management Information Systems - Client Relationship Management (HMIS-CRM) software. Tasks include monitoring HMIS activities and data entry for compliance with HMIS data standards; Integrating the needs of new programs and initiatives into the HMIS-CRM for data collection and reporting; Developing new data entry and reporting protocols; Working with software vendor to streamline end-user experience and improve workflows; Improving usage of the data through tools such as by-name lists and data views; Ensuring all functionality and services provided by the software are optimized and used to the fullest of its capacities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The person in this position must have a good understanding of data management and usage, a clear commitment to the population served and be able to work as part of a team.
Requirements
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree with two to five (2 - 5) years of database applications and administrative experience, preferably in human services.Experience in basic statistics.Proficiency in office software and equipment including Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook), internet use, telephone systems, and copy/scanner machines.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel pivot, macros, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)Ability to deliver results, work independently, and prioritize tasks; strong attention to detail.PREFERRED:
Master's Degree with at least three (3) years of database applications and administrative experience, preferably in human services, and training in program evaluation, research methods, or program management, or equivalent professional experience.Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript, or other coding languages.Experience with Clarity, ClientTrack or other Homeless Management Information Systems; experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.Familiarity with HUD standards for data quality and reporting.KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
High level of computer proficiency in database systems, including data entry, maintenance, quality assurance and report-writing.Strong verbal and written communication skills.PREFERRED:
Experience with technical user interfaces and user experiences.Experience with data workflows, branching logic, and data validation.Experience working with homeless individuals with untreated mental illness and addictive disorders.Interest, or experience with, social justice as well as homelessness and housing advocacy.Experience with project or workflow management.Bilingual/Bicultural (Spanish).
