Role Summary:
Under the general supervision of the AVP of Infrastructure and Operations, the IT Business Analyst I is primarily responsible for the management of the IT budget, procurement of IT equipment, and asset management. The IT Business Analyst I will work with Information Technology and the Accounting/Finance team to ensure a smooth and accurate process for budgeting, procurement, implementation, and asset management across all departments and locations. Additional responsibilities will be to assist the Service Desk team in analyzing and resolving end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
What You Will Be Doing:Develop, maintain, and analyze the IT budgets.Provide periodic updates of projected vs. incurred expenses, identify trends, overbilled expenses, monthly expenses, and cost estimates.Work with vendors to get quotes, process, and procure orders for required products and services, including training requirementsInteract with vendors and suppliers regarding the acquisition of new products and/or services, changes to products or services provided by the vendor, changes to established vendor service levels, and issues relating to the support of hardware or software including changes to equipment and maintenance support contracts.Work with the Accounting department to track the IT budget, IT Assets, and mitigate issues.Maintain communications with all managers, supervisors, and other interested parties regarding information to be communicated from the department.Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of PCs, printers, terminals, etc., coordinating with technical support and vendors as necessary.Coordinate equipment deliveries at Gesa Credit Union's data center / warehouse as we as transporting Gesa equipment to and from its facilities.Demonstrate support of corporate values, mission, and vision. Perform job duties within these standards and in accordance with the guidelines of our bylaws and regulations.Maintain and protect all sensitive data utilizing the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism. Consistently display respect for all areas of diversity and levels of knowledge.Manage areas of responsibility, perform duties and control risk in a safe and sound manner.Display mutual respect, trust, and dignity, acting in the best interest of the Credit Union. Lead by example by displaying solid ethics and integrity at all times.Contribute to effective department and Credit Union operations by performing other related duties as assigned.About You:
Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks.Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information, both orally and in writing.Strong customer service skills and a good telephone manner.Ability to solve problems and exercise sound judgment when performing duties and working with members.Ability to analyze information and recommend achievable process improvements.Qualifications
What You Will Need:
Two-year college degree with major course of study related to Information Technology or Business. The equivalent completion of specialized courses in the area of information technology and additional related experience shall be recognized as an equivalency to education requirements.One to three years of similar or related experience.Experience with creating and managing reports and spreadsheets using Excel or any other reporting tool.Must consistently display and maintain courtesy, tact, and diplomacy with current and potential members, peers, and staff.Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, software, and standard office equipment.
