We are seeking a driven and experienced Lead & Business Development Director to play a critical role in achieving our ambitious growth targets by building a high-performing lead generation engine. You will build, mentor, and lead a team of talented lead generation specialists, responsible for driving qualified leads that fuel revenue growth and market expansion. This includes developing and implementing innovative strategies across multiple channels, such as digital marketing, content marketing, events, and strategic partnerships. You will also conduct thorough market analysis to identify and prioritize target segments, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Responsibilities: How you'll make an impact: Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage a team of lead generation specialists. Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive lead generation strategy across multiple channels Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team effectiveness and optimize campaigns. Collaborate with marketing, sales and account management teams to align lead generation efforts with overall business objectives. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in lead generation and the benefits industry Process Optimization: Implement and refine lead qualification processes to ensure high-quality leads are passed to sales. Leverage CRM and prospecting & marketing technology tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency & productivity Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize lead generation efforts. Outbound Prospecting: Develop and execute outbound prospecting campaigns to target key accounts and ideal customer profiles. Participate in the creation and delivery of compelling messaging and sales collateral. Ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices for outbound communications. Experience you'll bring: Proven Experience: 10 years of experience in a lead generation or inside sales leadership role, with a demonstrated track record of success in building and managing high-performing teams. Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and execute comprehensive lead generation strategies aligned with business objectives. Strong Leadership: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills to effectively lead and inspire a team. Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in analyzing data, tracking KPIs, and using insights to optimize performance. Technical Skills: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation tools, and lead generation platforms. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions. Cross Functional Collaboration: Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish initiatives in a matrixed environment Preferred additional qualifications: Experience in the HR Tech, Benefits, or HCM industry. Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, Benefitflow Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
