Description
Goodin Company is a wholesale distributor of pipe, valves, fittings, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, water well and waterworks supplies. We stock over 25,000 different items manufactured by over 500 different manufacturers and operate from fifteen different locations located throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Nebraska. Warehouse Associates are the backbone of Goodin Company as they handle the actual products, ensuring that the order that the customer has placed is filled accurately and leaves the warehouse in a timely fashion and in excellent condition.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnload, receive, verify, and stock all incoming product from vendors.Pull and prepare customer orders for shipping, using barcodes, serial numbers etc.Ensure that all merchandise is safely packed and properly labeled for shipping.Keep an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.Safely transport merchandise to the shipping bay, and load trucks for delivery of product direct to customer.Ensure that warehouse is kept organized, secure, safe, and clean in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.Observe all safety policies and procedures.Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
2nd Shift Position: 1:00PM-9:30PM or until job is completed for the dayHigh school diploma or GED preferredProficient math skills to facilitate accurate and quick assessment of dataPlumbing and/or heating knowledge a plusAbility to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. and remain on your feet for long periodsPhysical Demands
