The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for approving invoices by validating all charges from vendors, optimize and create logistics routes & pricing by continually reviewing established routes and delivery performance, establish comprehensive budgets taking all aspects of the business into consideration, track & development Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal business performance. This role will be involved in managing 3PL logistics & warehouse operations for inbound & outbound materials. This role will perform root cause analysis and provide countermeasures for continuous improvement, lead projects from start to finish as assigned, and contribute to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth. Develop delivery schedules for inbound routes Create logistics routes for inbound/outbound materials Manage logistics costs to remain competitive Establishing logistics vendor RFQs Optimize loading efficiencies Validate/Approve logistics invoice accuracy to contract Evaluate logistics vendor contracts for competitiveness Coordinate with Security & Logistics Technologist dock delivery schedule adherence Manage any FTZ inbound/outbound compliance issues 3rd party warehouse operations management (logistics, warehouse inventory, warehouse operations, etc.) US & Mexico transportation compliance responsibility FTZ, IMMEX, CTPAT, TDOT, IATA, IMDG compliance responsibility Coordination of waste and maintenance logistics What We Offer

What You Need
Minimum of 5 (five) years of related experience in a professional business atmosphere. Knowledge of logistics, export, import, customs, etc. processes and procedures. Understands statistical analysis, parts forecasting methodologies, and associated system software. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP or similar ERP Good interpersonal and communication skills. Basic understanding of principles, concepts, practices and standards related to supply and logistics system information management. Experience analyzing supply chain data and identifying opportunities for process improvement. Professional communication skills are essential when conversing and negotiating with vendors. Understands and follows all standards of IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 quality standards. (Training and awareness will be provided for those who are not familiar with these standards) Understands and follows all standards of ISO14001 environmental standards. (Training and awareness will be provided for those who are not familiar with these standards) What is "Nice to Have"?
A Bachelor's degree in business administration or related degree is preferred as well as supply management certification and automotive industry experience. FTZ compliance/management experience preferred, but not required.
