Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a .NET Developer with a Secret clearance to support Kadiak and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Participate in requirements definition sessions with business stakeholders and interprets business requirements
Participate in scrum meetings and project team meetings
Develop using .NET, as the primary developer:
Build custom services, components or modules; establishes build, compile and test code, review code for compliance with requirements, design specifications and use coding best practices
Create and update system documentation, reports, presentations, and communicate with the customer at the appropriate user level
Apply system security and application security best practices (STIGs) including code/system testing to detect and remediate vulnerabilities
Document application design
Document application deployment environment
Provide quality code using industry best practices
Provide input into estimating development level of effort and complexity for development tasks
Provide input into project/task scheduling for development tasks
Troubleshoot technical issues for technical and client resolution
Translate business requirements and processes for technical requirements and solutions
Qualifications:
5 years of experience developing web-based applications
5 years of experience managing internal or client-facing projects to completion and troubleshooting clients’ technical issues
3 years of experience analyzing existing tools and databases
Ability to effectively assist with user support / reporting community questions and inquiries
Ability to organize and execute formal training with users as needed
Strong .NET experience – minimum of 5 years developing large system applications
Strong .NET Framework, .NET Core , ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, C#, AngularJS, and JavaScript experience
Working knowledge and understanding of the following: jQuery, Razor Syntax, LINQ, Entity Framework, ADO .NET, AJAX, JSON, CSS, Bootstrap
Experience with Visual Studios
Experience troubleshooting stored procedures, functions, triggers to figure out data issues
Experience with software testing and requirements tracking/traceability
Expert analytical, written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Expert in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Word)
Ability to work effectively as a member of a government led multi-functional team
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Ability to work within a team and independently
Secret clearance required
Good to Have - But Not Required:
Experience with DoD rules, regulation, and policies
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
Experience with Telerik – Kendo UI Controls
Other responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership team

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
