Description
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in providing financial, administrative, and project support for the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine's Sales & Service unit. Your responsibilities will include a range of essential financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department. Primary duties include:*Prepare invoices and manage billing summaries using information from university ledgers and Online Financial Reports.*Generate monthly sales and service reports, as well as departmental fund summaries.*Reconcile ledgers and support fiscal year-end closing for assigned accounts.*Audit financial documents for accuracy, ensuring compliance with campus policies and procedures.*Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and assist with special projects as needed.*Update and maintain the annual fee schedule.*Provide consult income summaries and financial insights to stakeholdersSalary Range: $30.56 - $60.82/hour
Qualifications
*Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Suite, with a strong proficiency in Excel.*Mathematical and budgeting skills to forecast and resolve complex financial problems.*Strong attention to detail.*Resourceful with ability to troubleshoot problems.*Excellent communication skills .*Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as computer entry.Not required, but a bonus if you are familiar with:*UCLA Corporate Financial Services systems (e.g., Recharge System, Transfer of Funds, Non-Payroll Expenditure Adjustment, Financial Journal), QDB/AFCPL.*Experience in using Tableau.
