Volt is hiring an Electrical Test Engineer for our client in Deland Florida for their state-of -the art facility! The Test Engineer develops and implements technical solutions that are innovative, thorough, and practical to a range of technical problems in a cross functional teach environment. We are looking for a multi-discipline, multi-talented Test Engineer who can develop and run tests for electronic hardware assembles and PCB’s.

As an Electrical Test Engineer you will:Design and optimize test and assembly processes for quality, capacity, cost, and safetyPerform system verification and validation testing, data analysis and reporting, discrepancy reporting and corrective actions to ensure production readinessOptimize the production process, product design using a robust lean problem-solving methodology, with quantifiable impact to business metricsTroubleshoot process/production problems and implement solutions, monitor sustainability of actions and report out resultsHave Experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, data acquisition, ammeters, and voltmeters) is requiredProgram microcontroller-based control boards and perform step-by-step testing to validate and analyze code and product performancePerform various documentation tasks including generating test reports and updating schematics and BOM’s
This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The Ideal Candidate will be:Able to program custom test code, example Python programming languageAssociates Degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology, Electronics or other electronics related discipline or the equivalent combination of work experience (such as military training/trade school)Minimum of 5 years’ experience and progressively increasing responsibility in the design, execution, and sustaining of Test Engineering processes and technologies in an EMS/OEM manufacturing environmentExperienced in Circuit AnalysisExceptional electronic troubleshooting skillsTechnical knowledge of reading blueprints, schematics, electrical/engineering drawings, etc.Able to design test scripts, test plansa and scenarios as well as tests for customers
Salary is between $70000-90000 per year.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
