Job description: Position Summary:
This position requires operators to make parts at different levels by different means. Operators are trained to cast various parts from molten aluminum, weld stacks for rotor props, different levels of machining those stacks, as well as trimming and deburring the final product. All while following our internal processes, WSI’s, QCI’s, and blueprints which are key to making quality products for both our internal and external customers.
Supervisory Responsibilties:
Training / mentoring.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Trimming - Set-up & Operate
Stack Welding – Set-Up & Operate
CNC – Set-Up & Operate
Casting – Set-Up & Operate DCM / Load & Unload Press
Deburring
Stacking – Set-Up & Operate
Sandblasting
Annealing
Tool & Die Changeovers
Counterbore / Drill Press
Maintaining Tools / Equipment / Machinery
Inspection
Other related jobs and duties may be required
Reqiured Skills and Abilities:
Mechanically inclined
Ability to work from written and oral instructions
Ability to read blueprints
Knowledge of hand and air tools / caliper
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma
Entry Level Experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to tolerate high temperatures, fumes, and chemicals
Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
A practical demonstration of skills may be required
Overtime is mandatory
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
