Job Description: Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a LEA OR and WA licensed Fire Alarm Technician for our client based out of Vancouver, WA. The successful candidate will perform inspections, installs, and repairs in a commercial and residential setting.

Pay: $35-45/hr DOE
Shift: Monday through Friday w/ some on call duties
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of fire protection systems including fire alarms and sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.Engage in fire alarm sales, providing expert advice to clients on the best solutions for their facilities.Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of fire protection systems.Maintain accurate records of inspections, designs, and installations for compliance documentation.Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of installed fire protection systems.Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and best practices related to fire safety.Install, configure, and maintain low voltage systems such as fire alarm and safety systems.Program, test, troubleshoot, and inspect low voltage systems.Utilize hand tools and equipment to build and repair low voltage installations.Troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems and computer networking.Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.Assist in alarm system sales by providing technical expertise to clients.
Qualifications
Low voltage license in Oregon and Washington required.NICET Level II and Inspection and Testing of Water Based Fire Protection Systems required.Working knowledge of NFPA 10 and 25 codes required.Backflow prevention certification and or fire extinguisher certification highly preferred.Portland Certificate of Fitness Fire Extinguisher License; Sprinkler certification highly preferred.Proficiency using a PC.Experience with IP network-based systems.The ability to install and connect radio and cellular dialers.Excellent customer service skills.Maintain customer privacy.Perform basic arithmetic and write legibly.Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.Ability to travel for work and a valid drivers license.Familiarity with fire alarm sales processes and techniques is a plus.Experience with fire sprinkler fitting and system design is advantageous.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
