SIE is looking for a Resident Engineer – Rail/Transit to manage various MTA C&D transit construction projects. This position will be responsible for the construction management, including quality, schedule, and overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:Construction management of multidisciplinary rail construction projectsManaging field project team, including budget and scheduleResponsible for project delivery and qualityIdentifying and recommending candidates for the rail/transit team
Qualification & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or similarLicensed Professional Engineer, Registered Architect, or Certified Construction Manager15+ years of experience in rail construction projects including stations, line structures, communications systems, and track workExperience with MTA C&D (including NYCT, LIRR, MNR), Amtrak, NJ Transit, and PANYNJStrong relationships within the industry including within agency, consultant, and contractor communityAbility to take ownership and be accountable for projects and personnelExcellent communication skills and work ethicA demonstrated ability to administer all project general and technical data and reports to communicate verbally and in writing to all parties involved
Expected salary range is $145,600 - $218,400 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.SI Engineering places a high value on employee wellness and wellbeing, which is reflected in our competitive benefits package:
