Responsibilities
Develop and present schematic design proposalsIdentify technologies to improve operationalDocument design narratives & engineering analysisInterpret customer requirements by reviewing specifications, sales documents, project drawings, etc. Insure design requirements match proposal and contract documentsPerform analysis and design of the structural framework for the company’s product lineCoordinate all work with the Manager of Engineering to incorporate structural / mechanical and electrical systems into the designResolve problems in the areas under his or her control that will impact schedule, accuracy and completenessProvide assistance to Sales and Estimating Departments as needed to provide timely response to sales and proposal needsCoordinate with manufacturing to insure proper flow of work through the plantCoordinate with installation operations to maximize efficiency of both equipment and personnel, with emphasis on quality and safety

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred
Experience
Professional Engineer license is requiredPrevious experience in structural / mechanical engineering or other related fieldsFamiliarity with manufacturing designs or schematicsProficient in Math, Calculations, TroubleshootingExperience in CAD or InventorStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to prioritize and multitask
