Amazon Web Services is looking for an innovative, action-oriented, and analytic Senior Finance Manager to lead the team responsible for partnering with the AWS Supply Chain rack manufacturing leaders. The Senior Finance Manager will work closely with senior management and stakeholders across a variety of functions to own new initiatives, build planning tools and processes, and drive cost savings efforts.

Key job responsibilities
* Working closely with cross functional teams on new initiatives driving cost out of the Amazon Supply Chain* Developing $B dollar budgets and and driving business execution accountability to them* Proactively identifying areas for process improvement and automation, identifying both issues and solutions* Working with stakeholders to first define and document business requirements, and then prioritize and implement process improvements, ensuring controllership and scalability* Driving a rigorous and proactive cadence of communications, keeping stakeholders informed on current statuses and engaged in key decisions* Creating reporting and metrics to facilitate analyses driving data-driven decision making* Leading a high performing team of Finance Analysts and Managers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience* 3+ years of performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools experience* 10+ years of positions that require analysis and reporting financial results experience* 8+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience* 8+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience* 8+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience* 8+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience* 7+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 10+ members experience* Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience* 8+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience* 8+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience* 8+ years of mentoring junior finance and/or business team members experience* 5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience* MBA, or CPA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
