DescriptionWe are seeking a Manager of Applications Development to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting SaaS applications, overseeing vendor contracts and invoices, and guiding software development efforts within an Agile framework. Responsibilities:• Manage a diverse portfolio of custom and SaaS Applications within a regulated environment• Oversee vendor management, including contract negotiation and order processing• Manage all aspects of the Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) from discovery to implementation• Establish software development standards, guidelines, processes, and procedures• Guide software development efforts using Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban• Work with common languages and frameworks such as Angular, .Net Core/C#, Java/J2EE/Spring• Manage OS and RDBMS like Windows, Solaris, Linux, SQL Server• Use DevSecOps, API’s, Webservices, Microsoft Azure DevOps, AWS for process automation• Maintain solid background in software, data, and enterprise architecture concepts• Lead and mentor the team, ensuring high performance and accountability• Maintain knowledge of Finance, Banking, or Mortgage Lending• Understand software development methods including Waterfall and Agile (Scrum and Kanban)• Be familiar with emergent architecture concepts.Requirements• Demonstrated experience in managing application development teams• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Agile Scrum methodologies• Strong knowledge of Cloud Technologies and SaaS (Software as a Service)• Experience in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions• Familiarity with AB Testing and API Development practices• Proficiency in ASP.NET and .NET frameworks• Strong leadership and people management skills• Experience in application management and development• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Job typePerm
