The Manufacturing Engineer Lead will direct a small team of highly skilled and experienced manufacturing engineers and work closely with a cross functional team to develop equipment and processes for assembly of the Joby Aviation aircraft actuators. This individual must be highly organized and self-driven, possessing a deep understanding of mechanical, process, and industrial engineering fundamentals to successfully scale projects from prototype to low volume production, while keeping a vision for high volume production in mind. This position is exciting and rewarding, as the Manufacturing Engineer Lead will promptly see their ideas influence many key areas due to the fast pace of Joby Aviation. Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $133,100 - $177,400 per year salary.
