 Seeking full time, Board Prepared/Certified Family, or Internal Medicine physicians. Eligible applicants should be able to provide comprehensive primary care, including gender-specific care (e.g. Women's Health). Our Primary Care Physician (PCP) functions as a team provider in shared workflow with a multidisciplinary Patient-Aligned Care Team (PACT - a medical home model), or as a float or gap provider assigned to provide comprehensive, collaborative same day and continuity care to an assigned panel of Veterans as well as to patients outside the assigned panel when Veteran care indicates a need for such. Medical care is delivered in accordance with current clinical practice guidelines with attention to prevention via utilization of evidence-based clinical decision-making tools. In addition to the provision of high-quality medical care, PACT Physicians demonstrate excellence in customer service via compassionate and informed interpersonal relationships with veterans, family members and staff.

 

Salary Range: $240,000-$285,000

Work Hours: Mon-Friday 8:00-4:30pm No Weekends!

Candidates must: 1) be a US citizen) 2) possess a current, full, unrestricted medical license in any state and 3) board certification in family or internal medicine. 

 

INCENTIVES:  Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) offers up to $200,000 over 5-years, tax-free and/or Recruitment Incentive with minimum 3-year service obligation. Recruitment/ relocation may be authorized for highly qualified candidates.  

 

BENEFITS: 208 hours (5.2 weeks) paid vacation (full-time physicians earn 8 hours each pay period upon employment/part-time physicians earn 1 hour of vacation leave for every 10 hours worked); 104 hours (2.6 weeks) paid sick leave (full-time physicians earn 4 hours pay period upon employment, no cap) /part-time physicians earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 20 hours worked); 11 paid Federal holidays (any time clinics are closed you get time-off with pay and does not come out of paid vacation); Competitive Salary; Annual Physician Performance Pay; Malpractice protection with tail coverage covered by the Federal government; CME- 1 week paid authorized absence to attend and after 1 year of employment $1,000 per year stipend toward CME if BC (does not come out of paid vacation/time is prorated for part-time staff); No Physician Employment Contract; no significant restriction on moonlighting
