Overview***PART-TIME OPPORTUNITY*** Are you passionate about mental health and looking for some extra income? This part-time clinician role may be the perfect fit for you! This rewarding opportunity provides direct care on Saturdays from 3:00 to 11:30 p.m. at our housing site in Fairview Heights, IL. This role will provide client-centered and client-driven services in client homes (group setting) that will focus on community support in apartment, conflict resolution, symptom management, group services/outings, and more. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping individuals in need. Over four decades, Chestnut has grown to almost 800 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health, and primary care treatment to patients in Illinois and Missouri. We provide fully integrated care for all our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Responsibilities Provide client-centered services: assessment, therapy, community support, and medication management. Use evidence-based practices for skill development and facilitate individual, roommate, family, and group therapy. Connect clients with additional clinical resources. Assume a leadership role with minimal guidance and oversight. Promote the recovery model: trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, and 6 months of peer or social service experience; OR CRSS or CPRS certification; OR Bachelor’s degree and CADC certification; OR Master’s degree. Valid driver’s license, private auto insurance, and must be insurable. Basic computer skills, including MS Office and electronic medical records.
