The Supply Technician must possess knowledge of standardized supply regulations, policies and procedures and all other written or verbal instructions relating to inventory, issue, receipt, storage and safeguarding of designated equipment. Must have working knowledge of the Global Combat Supply System-Army (GCSS-Army). The Supply Technician is responsible for ensuring compliance will all applicable property accountability regulations and maintaining high leadership standards and technical expertise to deliver best customer service.ResponsibilitiesThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:Maintain 100% property accountability In Accordance with Army Regulations, PWS, SOP, and Work Instructions.Works within the framework of established supply regulations, policies, and procedures and the same in addressing corrective actions needed to resolve property accountability.Working knowledge of Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A) and inventory procedures for all assigned property.Ensure all assigned and authorized equipment is either on hand or requested on a valid approved request.Executes property inventory, receipt, storage and issue to customers using the current Technical Manual.Ensure that all unserviceable and/or excess equipment is turned in through the appropriate channels and in a timely manner.Validates and ensures equipment readiness.Performs analysis of equipment on hand requirements (Class II, III, VII and XI).Review and update all shortage annexes quarterly or as directed by the Accountable Officer.Ensure compliance with all property authenticated directives within established guidelines.Identifies equipment status to include completeness, serviceability, and accountability.Performs other duties as assigned per Team Chief/Supervisor to meet organizational/operational objectives.Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent.Must have a valid State Driver’s License with no restrictions.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Liberty Installation.Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screeningExtensive Knowledge of all applicable Army supply regulations and DA Pamphlets.Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to work in a team-based, highly collaborative environment and comply with all Stafey policies.Capacity to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.Excellent organizational, analytical, communication skills, and outstanding customer service skills.Coordinate property and equipment disposition.Familiar with:Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A)Logistics information Warehouse (LIW)Logistics Information System (LIS)Logistics Integrated Database (LIDB)EXPERIENCE:Three (3) years' experience on property accountability procedures.Must have technical experience and comprehensive knowledge of the applicable property management process, related regulation, and extensive understanding of accountability procedures.Analyzing equipment on hand requirements (Class II, III, VII, and IX) identifying potential shortages.Knowledge related to requisition of material to meet requirements. This includes request process using GCSS-A, and other local purchasing options.Conducting inventories (monthly cyclic and sensitive items inventories) to include providing supporting documents for all issued property and items in maintenance.Ability to identify equipment status to include completeness, accountability, and serviceability.SKILLS:Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; ability to work in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.Capacity to work well in a fast-paced environmentExcellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, perform with a high degree of accuracy and multi-task.We are committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace that values and supports the contributions of each individual.
