Adecco is looking for skilled assemblers in Auburn Hills, MI area for a large corporate client. The hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM M-F. Job title: Light Industrial - Assembler 2 Job Summary The candidate will work as an Assembler 2 in a light industrial setting, assembling products according to engineering documents while ensuring they meet quality standards and production goals. They will also operate computers to check schedules and update the manufacturing status of jobs while performing basic quality checks and material handling activities. Even Simpler: The job involves putting together products by following instructions and making sure everything is done correctly. The person will also use computers to keep track of work progress and help move materials around. Skill Requirements Must-Have Requirements Experience in assembling products following engineering documents Ability to perform Go-No Go testing Familiarity with material handling activities Competence in monitoring quality control Preferred Requirements Experience in training other employees Problem-solving skills involving standardized situations Skill Education Assembling Products: This involves putting together various components or parts of a product following detailed instructions. Engineering Documents: These are technical documents that provide guidelines on how the assembly process should be conducted. Go-No Go Testing: A type of inspection method used to determine whether a part meets specified criteria. Material Handling Activities: Tasks related to moving and managing materials within a production environment. Quality Control: Procedures implemented to ensure that products meet specified quality standards.
