Under the direction of the Director, People and Culture Operations Office, Staff Services Manager III, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will independently perform complex duties regarding Labor Relations, Performance Management, Personnel Generalist, and Generative AI. The AGPA will support and make recommendations to the SSMIII, uphold the integrity of the office, and have significant contact both verbally and in writing with all levels of agency staff. The incumbent may be responsible for sensitive and confidential matters and requires the use of tact and sound judgment that recognizes the best interests of the state and the Chancellor's Office.

The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on the Chancellor's Office's evolving telework policy. The Chancellor's Office supports telework, recognizing that in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to the headquarters office in Sacramento if an urgent need arises.
