Medical Search International is seeking: Locums Pediatric HospitalistPaid travel, Malpractice & Excellent compensationNeed: Ped-Hospitalist ( Must have SC License )Start Date ASAPSupport Staff: Pediatric NP, Lactation, Respiratory, OT, ST, NutritionistLength of need: OngoingPrivileging Timeframe: 2 monthsDepartment Description: Hospitalist will cover the inpatient w/o PICU, pediatric ward, labor and delivery, emergency department, nursery level I and NICU II, A, B. There are 17 nursery beds and 13 NICU bedsPatient Population/Age: Peds and AdolescentsEMR-EpicSpecial Procedures: Scope of Practice: Adolescents, Peds, Neonates; admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat or consult on newborns and children through adolescenceCertifications: Board Certification is required (ABMS/ AOA)Certifications Required : PALS, NRPSkills Required: incision/drainage of superficial abscesses; lumbar puncture, ventilation management (non-invasive (BPAP/CPAP) & invasive (ETT/NT); xray interpretation, infectious illness of the blood, skin, lungs, and kidneys; respiratory illnesses (pneumonia, croup), common pediatric illnesses (influenza, dehydration), recovery from injuries or surgeries, attend c-section/ high-risk deliveriesClient can utilize a locum for various weeknights, weekends and holidays Nov-Feb.
