Maintain the highest standards of service through professional, informative and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers.-
Perform joist & deck estimates using estimating software program.-
Develop strong partnerships with our Upper Midwest (SD, ND, MN, & WI) customers.-
Work with the commercial team on devising and executing a market strategy for Upper Midwest territory. -
Develop and grow strong relationships with the local Engineering community by attending local events and gatherings. -
Be willing and able to travel.-
Willingness to work more than 40 hours per week when required.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum *****
Experience in reading architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, along with a general understanding of the construction process Bachelor’s degree in engineering Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel Able and willing to get PE once requirements have been met
Preferred *****
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering Experience in customer service and sales related roles Proficiency with NuBid Working knowledge of SAP Willing to put in and move for future advancement opportunities
