You will be part of McKinsey's Ethics and Compliance (E&C) function, whose mission is to manage risks to the firm, our clients, and our people, while also enabling McKinsey's client impact and innovation. The E&C function is a globally integrated team within the second line of defense of the firm. You will work in the Ethics pillar, which is responsible for instilling trust by amplifying integrity and effectively managing concerns. You will report to the Director of Allegations Management and will be based in North America.

Your impact within our firmIn this role, you will develop and implement strategic and operational initiatives to deliver our Allegations Management Program, specifically managing the intake/ triage of allegations and case management. To accomplish this, you will partner with functions such as Legal and Client Service Risk to develop data-led insights, identify remediation steps and provide fit-for-purpose recommendations to senior leaders on allegations-related issues. You will regularly produce and distribute comprehensive reports for internal and external audiences on compliance matters linked to allegations management. To support the Allegations Management program, you will develop and implement data, technology and tooling capabilities to ensure optimal data quality, appropriate use of analytics and use of a unified set of reporting systems and tools. You will also drive recommendations to changes in the firm policies, procedures and practices, including trainings and communications, based on insights from data and external sources. Additionally, you will own the oversight of suppliers and/or third-party partners associated with the program. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role. You will collaborate with a cross-functional and senior stakeholder group (e.g., Legal, Risk) across the firm in a timely and efficient manner. You will lead a high-impact team to deliver against the above priorities, supporting their growth and development needs through processes such as review, recruitment, and coaching. Finally, you will play a critical role in sustaining and evolving our E&C program and upholding our commitment to integrity and lawful practices.

Your qualifications and skills

University degree - JD degree highly preferred10+ years of professional experience in legal, regulatory, compliance environments; attorneys with "Big Law" and/or in house experience preferred5+ years in end-to-end allegations management programs including intake/triage, case management and/or investigations, decision making & remediationDirect experience in delivering disclosure programs related to conflicts of interestExperience with third party case management technologiesStrong Excel, Tableau (or other data visualization technology), analytical and data management skills preferredStrong entrepreneurial drive and ownership mentality to progress on ambiguous problems and see them through to resolutionOutstanding written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and craft cohesive storylines and communicationsAdept at influencing and engaging with all types of audiences to cultivate trust-based, peer-counselor relationships
