Director, GBS Process Excellence

Reporting to the Vice-President Finance, Head of Global Business Services (GBS), the Director, Head of Process Excellence is responsible to develop, manage, and oversee all Process Excellence capabilities. The shared capabilities model is angular to the success of our GBS organization and will allow GBS to achieve goals associated with process effectiveness and overall efficiency targets. Process Excellence will be comprised of Transition Management, Process Reengineering and Target Operating Model Design. The head of the function will be responsible for establishing the capabilities, documenting and aligning best in class methodologies, and will oversee the execution of key projects that will be enabled through these shared capabilities. The role will be hired as an individual contributor with the intent of having this leader assess the needs and gaps in the current organization and develop a plan to establish a team to support these services.
Create an assessment of the required shared capabilities with the objective of executing a roadmap focused on establishing and maturing all process excellence capabilities. The leader will be responsible for the following capabilities (subject to change):
Process Engineering
Transition Management
Target Operating Model Design
Change Management
Lead the design of all operating model design exercises across GBS’s functions with the goal of further refining how the organization is setup for future success
Develop an execution plan to deliver process performance improvements in collaboration with Global Process Owners focusing on timeliness, accuracy, stakeholder satisfaction and efficiency
Establish a best-in-class transition management methodology to successfully enabled the transfer of activities and creation of centers of excellence across multiple locations
Support the development and lead the execution of a global service hub strategy to enable process centralization and further scalability of the GBS organization
Manage all project status, project management, ensure operational delivery, and closes any gaps. Successfully translate organizational needs into an operational plan to fulfill projects with the right resources and methodology (availability, skillset).
Manages the performance of future direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.

Collaborate and build trust within the organization and with internal and external customers to meet or exceed their expectations. Perform other duties as directed
University degree - Masters Degree preferred
12 years of direct related experience, including 8 years of relevant management/leadership experience.
Solid experience as lead or participant in cross-functional or global projects or worked in multiple functions or regions.
Lean Sigma or Lean Leadership Training, experience or equivalent preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to identify and resolve issues independently
Able to manage multiple projects within different geographic regions simultaneously
Team player that can collaborate and communicate with people across all levels and functions
