Responsibilities:

Create and manage architectural blueprints that describe the strategy, business outcomes, capabilities, services, processes, information, and data that present the vision, goals, and strategic objectives.Collaborate and work closely with multiple teams consisting of Engineering, Product Management, Research and Corporate IT teams, and external subcontractors and vendors to identify, select, and implement technology solutions that will meet business needs.Define and refine methodology and standards for setup, design and implementation of the application or technology to meet the needs of the business and IT customers.Analyze and evaluate emerging technologies and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and development team leads to recommend solutions for improvement.Generate detailed system requirements with cost projections, cost benefit analysis and ROI.Develop and drive the standards, development processes, systems architecture, and design patterns to support technical and business solutions.Guide and mentor agile teams on architecture, design, and integration of business software across multiple product platforms while making sure all application software is built with Performance and Scalability in mind.Review current application software and processes to help mitigate technical debt and streamline processes to be more efficient and effective.Evaluate technology trends like emerging standards for fresh technology opportunities. Conduct tests and POCs which could be used and applied in application development.Develops solutions for the engineering team to deliver software with excellent quality and speed. Involved in designing and developing scaling strategies, automation scripts, and solutions to implement, streamline, and execute the software.Work closely with various business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive the execution of multiple business plans & technologies.Assist removing technical obstacles, help enhance team processes, handle resource issues, and interact with team members to assure sprint iteration and product release is successfully delivered.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree15+ years of Application Software Development Experience (Python, Java).8+ years solutions architecture, design, system integration, implementation, and deployment in cloud technologies.10 years' experience of SQL and ERD with relational databases.8 years implementing API services REST SOAP, and GraphQL.5 years' experience developing solutions with NoSQL datastores.5 years' experience implementing data analytics, AI/ML/NLP, and predictive models.Demonstrated experience in real world cloud-based, distributed, data driven applications.Experience implementing a microservices architecture.Experience with containerization technologies including (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS: EKS, ECS, Fargate).Possess the AWS Solutions Architect certification.Recent relevant experience implementing and deploying enterprise scale applications in AWS.Possess knowledge and experience in system Security and Identity integrations with SAML, Okta, etc.Demonstrate knowledge in handling distributed data systems, e.g., Elastisearch, MongoDB, Spark, Hadoop.Solid understanding of data integration, data modeling, data migration and data transformation pipelines or processes.Essential to have sound knowledge of cloud infrastructure using AWS, including knowledge of their built-in services, such as S3, CloudFront, ECS/EKS, EC2, RDS, API Gateway and Cloud Formation.

Estimated Pay Low: $70hrEstimaged Pay High: $75hr
