As the Financial Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with both the Finance/Accounting team and company leadership to deliver strategic insights and accurate financial metrics.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the daily accounting operations, including month-end close, revenue, inventory, cash management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.Create comprehensive reporting packages for the Controller and General Manager, presenting analytics and summaries of variances and activities.Drive initiatives in cost accounting and manufacturing processes to enhance operational metrics and inventory management.Engage with team members across various levels, from Manufacturing Supervisors to Executives, to provide financial guidance and training.Manage internal and external audit processes and compliance efforts.Collaborate with the Controller on continuous improvement initiatives across the accounting function.Provide return-on-investment (ROI) analyses and ad-hoc reports to support business decisions and capital investments.Utilize MS Excel and database skills for data management and reporting purposes.Assist the Controller in reviewing monthly account reconciliations.Lead project teams to ensure business initiatives are completed on time and within budget.Support other accounting team members as needed.Seek additional certifications and credentials for professional development.Adhere to safety, GAAP, and FASB regulations.Maintain consistent attendance.Participate in special projects as assigned by Management.Qualifications:Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, along with a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required.Experience:
At least 5 years in professional Accounting/Finance roles with increasing responsibility, including 3 years in a manufacturing setting, 2 years in public accounting preferred, and 1 year in a leadership capacity.Data management experience (SQL, Progress, QAD/ERP systems) is a plus.Certifications:
CPA is strongly preferred.Skills:
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills across all organizational levels, proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and the ability to navigate complex situations collaboratively.Note: Consolidated Precision Products embraces diversity and equal opportunity.
